According to Dr. Yajaira Acosta Romo, a graduate of the Autonomous University of Baja California, in Mexico the prevalence of caries is 93.5%. The prevalence is high in all age groups, higher than 85%, however, in the population older than 40 years the prevalence was higher than 95%.

That is why tools must be developed in the field of health for both individuals and professionals, and thus be able to reduce the mortality figures for associated pathologies.
